Bonded ADSL SDSL

Bonded ADSL from Transit2 provides the ability to increase both upload and download speeds that may be limited by a single ADSL line. Bonded DSL offers a cost effective WAN solution for multiple business sites where businesses could not previously justify the cost of this higher bandwidth need or where ADSL speeds might be limited by BT distance or line quality. For example 4 X 2MB ADSL lines providing an 8MB download and 1MB upload or is used with SDSL 8MB in both directions.

Bonded ADSL also offers more resilience by using 2 or more lines and if the exchange allows these could be connected to different DSLAMS in order to provide hardware failure redundancy in the BT exchange.(Note not all exchanges have more that one DLSAM or the capacity to offer this dual option).
